The ILLOWA Partnership for Philanthropic Planning is an organization designed for the exchange of information and the advancement of expertise for planned giving professionals.

Originally formed in 1998 as the Quad City Planned Giving Council (QCPGC), the local chapter is affiliated with the national organization, which was created in 1988 under the name “National Committee on Planned Giving”.  The national organization became the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning in 2009, at which time the local chapter also made the name change.

ILLOWA PPP was formed to encourage networking, education, and training of gift planning professionals, including attorneys, financial planners, accountants, fundraisers, trust officers, non-profit CEO’s and others.  The Partnership hosts educational seminars four times each year on subjects that focus on charitable gift planning in financial and estate plans of donors and clients.  In addition, monthly informal roundtable discussions are held to facilitate interaction among membership.

The goal of the ILLOWA PPP is to help members better communicate with donors and clients about charitable estate planning and to foster communication between non-profit and for-profit gift planning professionals.
